Biography :

Created in 1992 and discovered during the French music festival "Le printemps de Bourges" in 1996, Buru is the successful alchemy between the African roots of Pape Amath Ndiaye born in Senegal (main vocals, guitar) and the classical-jazz background of Francine Tieche from Swizerland (Flute, saxophone and vocals).
This excellent music duet using powerful vocals and instruments such as saxophone/flûte/guitar has very cleverly known how to combine their differences: men to woman, black and white, enabling them to create a very unique musical universe.
